Tourists with coronavirus will no longer be quarantined
The country has updated sanitary protocols for tourists.
If a guest exhibits symptoms of coronavirus, they are advised to self-isolate in their room. The hotel is obliged (!) to provide the sick person with a medical mask, to inform the state sanitary services and the doctor with whom he cooperates. If the patient needs hospitalization, they will be transported to the hospital.
There will be no restrictions on movement around the country for sick foreigners. Tourists can travel by ferry, plane or other means of transport, provided (!) wearing a mask with a high degree of protection.

Greece opens borders to all citizens
From February 7, 2022, borders will open to all citizens and tests will be canceled for holders of EU-approved vaccine certificates.
The test is not needed if the entrant has one of the following documents:

From February 1, 2022, the validity of vaccination certificates will be reduced to 7 months
You can enter Greece without a certificate – a PCR test no older than 72 hours is now required from everyone, including those vaccinated.
But getting into public places within the country with an expired document will not work if you do not "extend" it with a booster dose.

The Greek authorities have accelerated the procedure for issuing a QR code
Now passengers flying to Greece (with the exception of persons traveling through Greece for a transit purpose), who for any reason did not fill out the PLF form in advance, can do this directly at the airport of departure, right before the flight.
Now the QR code is sent to your e-mail immediately after submitting the Passenger Locator Form (PLF), which previously had to be completed no later than 24 hours before departure.
If, for some technical reason, the link with the QR code does not come, you will be asked to show a letter informing you that the PLF has been completed.

The Coast Guard checks for vaccination certificates or negative PCR tests.
Prior to the Coast Guard taking on this responsibility, Maritime Transport Minister Yannis Plakiotakis said the port authorities carried out numerous checks on compliance with anti-epidemiological measures and criticized ship employees for non-compliance.
