From February 11, 2022, the UK introduces new entry rules

Fully vaccinated passengers:

List of approved vaccines:

  • Pfizer BioNTech
  • Oxford AstraZeneca (including Covishield)
  • Moderna
  • Janssen (J&J)
  • Sinovac
  • Sinopharm Beijing
  • Covaxin

Russian and Chinese vaccines are not recognized!

Self-isolation is cancelled.

Passengers who have not been vaccinated or have been vaccinated with non-recognized vaccines:

  • you must complete the Passenger Locator Form
  • take a PCR test before departure to the country
  • take a PCR test on the 2nd day after arrival (link)

Those who are unvaccinated or vaccinated with an unapproved vaccine are exempted from quarantine! But if the test result is positive, you must self-isolate.

For citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan

From January 10, 2022, the UK recognizes the following COVID-19 vaccination certificates issued by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

  • Covaxin
  • Moderna
  • Janssen (one dose)
  • Novavax (Nuvaxovid and Covovax)
  • Oxford/AstraZeneca
  • Pfizer/BioNTech
  • Sinopharm Beijing
  • Sinovac-CoronaVac

Passengers entering the UK or transiting the UK must complete the Public Health Passenger Locator Form. There must be no more than 48 hours between the time of filling and sending to the United Kingdom. The completed form must be presented at check-in at the airport of departure and at immigration control at the airport of arrival.

Entry into the UK will be carried out according to the “traffic light” system

From July 19, 2021, the rules for entering the UK will be carried out according to the so-called "traffic light" system.

This means that due to the epidemiological situation, countries are divided into "green", "yellow" and "red" zones. The list of countries with indication of zones is published on the Government Portal.

As a reminder, as of 7 December 2021, passengers over the age of 12 entering the UK or transiting the UK must provide a negative COVID-19 test taken no earlier than 48 hours before departure of a direct flight to the UK, and must also pass a PCR test on the second day after arriving in the UK. Accepted tests: antigen, LAMP, nucleic acid and PCR tests. The test result must be in English or French or Spanish. As a result of the test, the following information must be indicated: passenger data (last name, first name, date of birth or age) corresponding to the data in the passport or other travel document. The test result certificate must also contain contact information for the laboratory that performed the test.

These requirements do not apply to passengers under 11 years of age.

Passengers may be required to undergo quarantine. Quarantine rules for England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland.

At the same time, passengers who have been in or transited in the last 10 days to / through India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, the UAE are not allowed to enter the UK. This restriction does not apply to citizens of Great Britain, Ireland, residents of the United Kingdom.

You can fly to England with a tourist visa, but previously tourism was hampered by mandatory self-isolation, now this measure has been removed and it will be possible to travel much more conveniently.
