Entry rules to Ukraine for all foreign citizens

1. When checking in for a flight to Ukraine, passengers are required to provide one of the following documents:

  • Negative result of a rapid test for COVID-19 antigen or PCR test performed no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Ukraine
  • Certificate of complete vaccination against COVID-19 with one of the following vaccines: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer / BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac
  • COVID-19 recovery certificate

These requirements do not apply to:

  • citizens and residents of Ukraine
  • passengers under 12 years of age
  • passengers with diplomatic passports

2. Passengers must have insurance to cover medical expenses in Ukraine

This requirement does not apply to:

  • citizens and residents of Ukraine
  • passengers with diplomatic passports

3. Passengers arriving from India or the Russian Federation, or transiting through these countries, are subject to a 14-day quarantine.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • passengers with a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 with one of the country's recognized vaccines
  • passengers with a negative PCR test performed no earlier than 72 hours prior to arrival in Ukraine
  • passengers with a COVID-19 recovery certificate

4. Citizens and residents of Ukraine with a positive result for COVID-19 are subject to mandatory quarantine

5. Upon arrival in Ukraine, you need to install the Vdoma application on your mobile phone (Google Play, App Store)

This requirement does not apply to:

  • citizens of Ukraine
  • passengers under the age of 18
  • passengers with a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 with one of the country's recognized vaccines
  • passengers with a negative PCR test performed no earlier than 72 hours prior to arrival in Ukraine
  • passengers with a COVID-19 recovery certificate

Entry rules to Ukraine for citizens of Uzbekistan

1. Non-vaccinated citizens must install the Vdoma application (Google Play, App Store) on their mobile phone, register upon arrival and receive an SMS code to the SIM card of the Ukrainian provider

2. You must have an insurance policy (certificate, certificate) issued by a Ukrainian insurance company or a foreign insurance company with a representative office in Ukraine, covering the costs associated with the treatment of COVID-19, observation and valid for the entire period of stay in the country.

3. Have one of the following documents with you:

  • Document confirming receipt of one or more doses of COVID-19 vaccine that are approved by WHO for use in emergencies
  • Foreign COVID certificate confirming vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines approved by WHO for use in emergency situations, PCR test with negative result or certificate of recovery from COVID-19
  • Negative result of PCR test or rapid antigen test, which is done no earlier than 72 hours before entry
