Flynas launches Jeddah – Tashkent air service

Saudi low-cost airline Flynas has launched regular flights on the Jeddah – Tashkent route.

The first flight took place on September 15, 2022.

The low-cost airline will fly from Saudi Arabia to the capital of Uzbekistan twice a week – on Mondays and Thursdays. Flights will be carried out on Airbus 320 aircraft.

For Flynas, this is the second direction in Uzbekistan. Since August 2021, it has been serving the Riyadh – Tashkent – Riyadh route.

Flynas (formerly Nas Air) was founded in 2007. It is now among the largest low cost airlines with a fleet of 38 aircraft, a third of which was acquired in 2021-2022.

The airline said that the new direct flights between the countries will expand the possibilities for the transportation of pilgrims going on the Hajj and Umrah, as well as businessmen and tourists.
