Entry rules for Kenya

Kenya has closed entry to the unvaccinated from December 28, 2021

All arrivals are now required to upload a vaccination certificate to globalhaven.org before travel, along with a PCR test no older than 72 hours (list of approved vaccines).

In addition, you need to fill out an online application form and receive a QR code before departure.

Rules valid from 21 July 2021

PCR test requirements:

  • PCR test must be in English
  • PCR test should be done no earlier than 72 hours before departure (time is counted from the moment of taking the material)
  • The PCR test result must be uploaded to the Trusted Travel Initiative
  • Children under 5 years old – no test needed

COVID Covered Insurance:

  • Not required, but it is better to arrange

Additional requirements:

  • You need to fill out a special online form in advance and receive a QR code
  • Passengers leaving the airport during curfew must keep their boarding pass as proof of arrival time in order to reach their accommodation
  • Return ticket availability

Country restrictions:

  • Mask mode works in public places
  • There is a curfew from 22:00 to 04:00
  • Restaurants are open until 22:00, bars - until 19:00
