No certificates or PCR tests required

From April 1, 2022, certificates and PCR tests are no longer required to enter Latvia

According to the decision of the Government of Latvia, from April 1, 2022, before boarding the Tashkent-Riga flights, as well as when entering Latvia, it is not required to present a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 or a negative PCR test result.

Rules for entering Latvia have been simplified for Uzbeks

From March 1, 2022, for all passengers from 12 years old, the entry procedure will change dramatically

Entry is no longer required:

  • Reason (work, family reunification, treatment, etc.)
  • Complete a form

To enter Latvia, passengers must provide a certificate of vaccination or illness. In this case, the certificate must be recognized in the territory of the European Union. There are currently 33 states (or territories) on this list.

Otherwise, a negative test result for Covid-19 must be submitted:

  • Rapid antigen tests (valid for 48 hours)
  • PCR test (valid for 72 hours)

[ ! ] Documents must be in English in paper or electronic form (on a smartphone)

Every arriving person has the opportunity to voluntarily take a state-paid coronavirus test after arriving at Riga Airport.
