Moroccan authorities lift major covid entry restrictions

No more tests or vaccination certificates are needed.

The Passenger Health Card will still have to be filled out. It must be carried with you. This form must be printed and signed prior to arrival.

According to information published by the National Airports Authority (ONDA), the decision to lift the restrictions has been in effect since September 30. However, there are no changes in the Timatic airline guide at this hour.

Morocco opens entry to unvaccinated people

From May 20, you can enter with a regular PCR test no older than 72 hours.

Entry is still open to vaccinated people, including Sputnik V and Sputnik Light, and as of May 17, the country does not require a PCR test for entry in addition to a certificate.

Morocco suspends passenger flights with other countries

The suspension of all passenger flights to / from the country due to the coronavirus pandemic has been extended until January 31, 2022.

This was announced on Friday by the Kingdom's National Airports Authority on Twitter. "The suspension of all passenger flights to and from Morocco is extended until January 31, 2022," the statement said.

The Moroccan authorities have decided to suspend all direct passenger flights to / from the kingdom from the evening of November 29, 2021 in connection with the spread of the new omicron coronavirus strain. At the beginning of December, the ban was already extended once – until December 31, 2021.

Earlier, the government extended until January 31, 2022, the sanitary state emergency regime introduced on March 20, 2020 to counter the spread of the coronavirus.
