The Russian airline "S7 Airlines" (Siberia) has launched a flight on the route "Volgograd – Fergana – Volgograd". This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.
The first flight was made on December 7: an S7 plane landed at the Fergana international airport, which, according to tradition, was solemnly greeted with a water arch.
Flights on the route "Volgograd – Fergana – Volgograd" will be operated on Tuesdays on a comfortable Airbus 320 with a capacity of 174 seats. According to the press service of the Volgograd international airport, the air carrier's planes will take off at 06:25 and arrive back at 15:10. Travel time in one direction will be 3 hours 35 minutes.
The flight program is completed by the end of the autumn-winter period – until March 22, 2022.
Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan announced the approval of the winter schedule of regular flights of Russian airlines to the Republic. According to the schedule, S7 Airlines operates flights to Uzbekistan from three Russian cities - Moscow, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk. The airline also launched regular flights from Nizhny Novgorod to Urgench and back.
