Arrival in Samarkand
At the station you will be met by a guide and a driver with a sign "Radius Travel". Together you will go on a sightseeing tour of Samarkand.

Visiting Gur-Emir Mausoleum
The tour begins with a visit to the Gur-Emir mausoleum – the tomb of Tamerlane and his family members.

Visiting the Registan Square
Walking along the alley with souvenir shops, you will find yourself on the famous Registan Square, which has been the center of Samarkand for many centuries. There are three madrasahs here: Ulugbek, Sher-Dor, Tilla-Kori.

Visit to Bibi-Khanum mosque
The Bibi-Khanum Mosque (senior princess) is the cathedral mosque of Tamerlane's beloved wife.

On the way to the Shakhi-Zinda necropolis (currently the complex consists of 11 mausoleums, most of which date back to the 14th century), you can look at the Siab bazaar, the stalls of which are bursting with oriental sweets, fresh fruits and hot cakes.

Visit to Ulugbek Observatory
At the end of the tour, visit the Ulugbek observatory, which contains the preserved part of the sextant of the 15th century. Among the numerous astronomical studies of Ulugbek, the invaluable work "Gurgan Zij" (Catalogue of the starry sky), consisting of a description of 1018 stars, is of great interest. The length of the sidereal year was determined by Ulugbek as 365 days, 6 hours, 10 minutes, 8 seconds.
