One of the most frequently asked questions is the question about the countries that a citizen of Uzbekistan can visit without a visa. Given the need for coverage of this issue, we have tried to collect this information and provide it to you. The list is subject to changes depending on the agreements adopted between the countries.

In 2022, citizens of Uzbekistan can visit 58 countries of the world without a preliminary visa application. Of these: 24 countries – without a visa, 34 – a visa is issued upon arrival.

To visit the country without a visa, you should take into account some of the nuances:

  • Do not violate the terms of stay on the territory of the state. This is a separate set period for each country.
  • The presence of a valid biometric passport of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  • If necessary, have additional documents with you: medical insurance, confirmation of a sufficient amount of financial resources, accommodation reservation, return ticket.
  • In some countries, visa-free citizens must go through a simple registration procedure with the local police or other government agency.

If the time of stay is violated without permission, tourists will be punished in the form of fines, deportation, or even a life-long ban on visiting the country.

Depending on the country, the visa on arrival is pasted into the passport or a special stamp is put on the document. To complete it, you need a minimum number of documents. The registration procedure takes a few minutes, provided that there are no complaints about the identity of the newcomer.

List of documents for obtaining a visa

  • International passport
  • Pre-filled application form (to be completed on the plane or at the border checkpoint)
  • Migrant card or customs declaration
  • When traveling with children, a birth certificate and permission to cross the border (provided that the child is traveling with only one of the parents)
  • A certificate in which the purpose of the visit is recorded
  • Confirmation of booked or personal accommodation in the selected country
  • Financial soundness document
  • Return ticket
  • Medical insurance (upon request)

The procedure for traveling abroad

To visit a number of countries, you need a special sticker, which is issued by the OVIR. The validity period is 2 years. If he is absent, then the tourist will have to pay penalties. At the moment, without this sticker, you can visit 9 CIS countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kazakhstan.

Visa to Turkey. For citizens of Uzbekistan, a visa is issued at Turkish airports for up to 90 days. Required documents:

  • international passport
  • paid hotel reservation
  • air tickets in both directions

Visa for Thailand. For Citizens of Uzbekistan, there is a visa-free entry to Thailand for up to 14 days. The visa is issued at the airports in Thailand. Upon arrival at the airport in Thailand, a questionnaire and a customs declaration are filled out. The cost of a visa is $35. Required documents:

  • passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of departure from Thailand
  • paid hotel reservation
  • air tickets in both directions. If necessary, you must also present internal tickets (if any)
  • 2 color photographs 3x4

The Immigration Service of Bangkok Airport may ask arriving tourists to present cash or bank cards (minimum amount per person - $500)

Visa to Malaysia. For citizens of Uzbekistan, there is a visa-free entry into Malaysia for up to 30 days. Required documents:

Visa for the Maldives. For citizens of Uzbekistan, there is a visa-free entry to the territory of the Maldives for up to 30 days. Required documents:

  • international passport
  • voucher confirming the paid hotel reservation
  • air tickets in both directions
