Quarantine requirement lifted for arrivals from 11 countries

Uzbekistan has lifted the mandatory 10-day quarantine requirement for arrivals from eight European countries, as well as Australia, Israel and Egypt. In addition, communication with Hong Kong and African countries is being resumed.

By the decision of the Special Commission on Combating Coronavirus in Uzbekistan, the requirement (in force since the beginning of December 2021) to undergo a 10-day quarantine at home or in a hotel for passengers of flights from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Egypt, Israel has been canceled, Italy, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

In addition, international flights are being restored (entry, exit and entry into the country by transit flights) with Hong Kong, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini, Tanzania and the Republic of South Africa. This restriction was also introduced in early December 2021. Citizens of third countries who have visited these states in the last 14 days are now allowed to enter the territory of Uzbekistan.
